Southgate Wealth Management is proud to support the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association as our official charity partner.
The MND Association is a registered charity dedicated to improving access to care, research, and campaigning for people affected by motor neurone disease across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
Motor neurone disease is a life-shortening neurological condition that affects the nerves (motor neurones) in the brain and spinal cord, leading to muscle weakness and wasting. The MND Association’s mission is clear: to ensure everyone living with MND receives the best possible care, achieve a world free of MND, and to provide hope through research and advocacy.
Jonathan Southgate, Director of Southgate Wealth Management, said: “By partnering with the MND Association, we are committed to raising awareness and vital funds to support their groundbreaking research and the services they offer to individuals and families affected by this devastating disease.”
“Southgate Wealth Management began our support of the MND Association in 2025, as sponsors of a charity match for David ‘Syd’ Lawrence, former England international and Gloucestershire CCC player. Sadly, Syd passed away from the disease shortly after the match. His determination to raise awareness of the disease and its impact has inspired us to continue our support of the charity.”
